Brighter Futures is an holistic, person centred education, employment and training (EET) support service for anyone 16+ in Rotherham who might need help to explore new opportunities or sustain employment.

Maybe you feel something is holding you back from reaching your potential or maybe you simply don't know what you want to do?

 

Whatever the reason, whatever the need, our highly skilled & experienced coaches are here to help you achieve your goals.

Who do we work with?

How to Join us?

We work with people from the age of 16 who may have barriers which could be preventing them accessing employment, education or training, or just simply don’t know what they want to do and what opportunities are out there.

Brighter Futures is a free and confidential service.

People can self-refer or be referred by an organisation.

To refer, call the office and speak with a member of the Brighter Futures team.

Can we offer support to employers?

Brighter Futures can liaise with employers if needed on behalf of clients. 

Brighter Futures does have a small budget to pay for Interview travel and clothes,

Travel pass for first month they are working.
Work clothes, PPE, w
ork tools etc...

This project is person centred meaning we work with people at their own pace. We have highly skilled coaches who will work on a 1-1 basis and in groups to identify personal targets/goals and raise their aspirations.

 

We support people to research jobs, apply and offer in work support once they have secured employment. We can also support if the person is already in work and would like support to find a new career or role which is more suited to their needs.  Our coaches will meet people out and about in the community or a place where suits them. 

 

We can support to develop or access the following, however this list is not exhaustive:

  • CVs

  • Job applications

  • Job search – interview skills

  • Health & wellbeing support

  • Training

  • Volunteering

  • College /education & AQA’s

  • Financial budget, travel, interview clothes, work wear and PPE

  • In work support, support with existing role or support to find a new role which  better suit your needs

  • Ongoing support

  • Sign post to professional support services
