Aspire to be is adult specialist employability and skills service based in Doncaster

Individuals need to be 19+ Unemployed, not in full time education and reside within the South Yorkshire region.

Our service is unique and has been designed to aid those where a normal educational setting has not met needs or impacted positively.

 

Service offer:

  • Employability

  • Motivation and Confidence

  • Personal Development

  • Sector Specific Training

 

Our teaching is done in a small group setting and methods are visual and hands on, and sessions are broken down into small bite sized chunks that impact positively.

The sessions are flexible and not timebound, to give everyone the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge needed to look for and find employment.

We deliver non accredited learning that cover various industry basic standards that run alongside simulated work environments and training covers:

​

  • Warehouse – Health and safety in the workplace/Job specific training.

  • Hotel Suite – Housekeeping / General cleaning.

  • Shop – Retail and stock control.

  • Kitchen/Café – Kitchen assistant and waitering service

  • Healthcare room – NHS job specific roles within Facilities 

 

We work with employers to enhance job opportunities by:

 Creating job specific training

 Supporting with application and interview processes

Who do we work with?

We work with those who are:

​

  • Deaf/hard of hearing or have any other communication issues.

  • Neurodiverse

  • Mild to Moderate learning difficulties

  • 19+ and looking for work

There is no cost to access the service, it is fully funded.

 

Individuals can be referred or self-refer by either giving us a call or via email

Where and how do we support people?

Our training areas are based in Doncaster with great transport links across South Yorkshire.

 

Once training is completed support will then be offered in local areas.
